The Whitney “HotShot” Vaughan-Christopher Memorial Scholarship was created to celebrate the achievements and bright futures of our talented students while celebrating the memory of our beloved daughter, Whitney Vaughan-Christopher.

We are a community that stands together in both joy and sorrow, and though Whitney may no longer be with us, her spirit continues to guide and inspire the bond we share.

In her honor, we have established the Whitney “HotShot” Vaughan-Christopher Memorial Scholarship to serve as a testament to her enduring spirit and commitment to academic excellence. With the help of the Lago Vista Booster Club, family, friends, community members, corporate sponsors and colleagues, it will be awarded annually to deserving students who embody Whitney’s values of kindness, resilience, and determination.
